Argo Bookshop is a small (180 sq feet of bliss) crammed with 6000 titles. It has everything you need to improve your humanities education. It is owned by Christopher. We choose to note it here in an effort to remind our readers about the importance of small bookstores. They hold books on consignment and help many local level small presses that struggle to get anything like promotion. As writers/readers and people involved in our culture it is our responsibility to protect it, part of how you can do that is to shop locally. They hold open mics, books signings and are a good place for you to go and talk about books with knowledge staff and other readers. While we hope that you will visit Argo anytime you are in Montreal (there is always tea ready), we ask that you check out the Canadian Booksellers Association Website for an indy shop near you.
