    This is fantastic. I like the last line of the haiku “Garlands of ice”. To me it says don’t be so materialistic this year; let nature’s beauty be the decorations.

    Hey Andrew,
    Thanks very much. I DO work on my haiku – and then, when I end up with something I think is real, it’s gratifying when someone else recognizes a truth in its simple message. That’s when we pay homage to our poetic muses. Happy New Year!
